Who knows the color of life? Is it Black or White or maybe Red or Yellow? Can anyone really tell, who knows the answer. The fact of the matter is life dwells in all created things; river, land, oceans, trees, animals, you and me. All different, yet; all experience the same cycle called life. To be born, grow, experience a season and then to fade away.

Have you ever wondered why you were born? Why when something tragic happened you were spared? Questioned your eye color, hair color or skin complexion? These are physical character traits that make you who you are and uniquely different from others. Do you ponder on who causes the rain to fall or the sun to shine? How your parents were chosen for you? You may think these questions have no answer, it is an enigma, but; not true.

I have the answer to share with you, Love knelt down on the ground, gathered duct in it’s hands and from that dust He formed a man. Love blew it’s breath into mans nostrils and it gave him life; then Love made woman from the side of man; from these two all human life began. One bloodline created from the breath of the Creator, all connected to each other; generations past, present and generations to come; sons and daughters connected as ONE.

Different complexions, eyes, languages, locations and backgrounds, children created from Love. However, Love never goes unchallenged; hate often rears it’s ugly head; I will destroy all His creation was what hate said. Hate has deceived many in the past and many now, they are being used by an enemy they don’t understand; is the enemy against all men. Division and separation, envy and greed the weapons of hate, turns sisters against brothers and mate against mate.

Love will never back down from a fight, for those it loves it will sacrifice. It is always seeking to reclaim it’s own; to dispel the hate replacing it with light, Love reminds the enemy he can’t win the fight. The answer to the question is a simple one, the color of life is the Breath of Love dwelling in man who was created by Gods own hands. Therefore, “LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD”. Psalm 150

My revelation as I sit by the pool of grace.

I’m sure most of us have seen the phrase”flavor of the day” on a menu or window signage in a store. It announces the special priceing for a certain item or selection for that day ONLY, usually it is something everyone finds appealing to the appetite. In some circles it has been applied to young women, however; this is somewhat derogatory when used in that context.

May I suggest we re-evaluate the phrase and apply it to one of the greatest forces active and moving in our world today, which is LOVE. So many of us are unfamiliar with what love truly is, we are surface dwellers; never digging into the substance of the matter. Love is a four letter word spoken from our mouths, but; has not penetrated our hearts. It is thrown around like a ball with nothing to support it.

Only when the heart is the starting point can it’s affects be felt by others. It is our actions that speak louder than our words; it is when we reach out to another in need expecting nothing in return, when sacrifice on anothers behalf is made, when your door is opened to house or feed the stranger, or when you go above what is expected. These are love actions generated from the heart.

Every 14tth of February we give those we care for tokens of love; flowers, candy, and cards. These are superficial expressions meant to convey deep affection for another person. The perfect expression of LOVE was given to all mankind in the blood stained cross of Calvery, “Greater love has no one than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13.

Sometimes love requires sacrifice, who are you willing to show this type of love? Accepting Christ in your heart will cause the love of Christ to shine forth like a beacon atop a hillside to all mankind making Love the flavor everyday.

My revelation

Hurry, hurry or you’ll run out of time, the clock is ticking; time is flying away. Have you ever had your schedule set, every appointment assigned it’s own time span? You prepare yourself to be at each just a little earlier than required, but; for some unknown reason you find yourself running late for the very first one. Time is not on your side, being late to one will create a dominoe effect; every meeting there after will be off schedule.

For so many life is a speeding train with no brakes, never enough time;can’t slow down. The hands on the world clock continues to move tick tock, tick tock very soon time will be no more. The decision to slow down will no longer be ours, no excuse will do; every one will have to face the truth. The lie the enemy has created must be revealed, all will know that GOD is real. Jesus is on His way back to cleanse the earth and give every man his reward according to his works.

Those who have a relationship with Him eagerly await His return, faithfully they wait as the clock ticks down to the time when He will grace the sky in the veiw of every eye. The opportunity to change your life is growing slim, everyone must make the choice to be saved or be lost; there is no in between. When the clock ticks for you, you’ll leave the scene. Your case will be settled, the time gone to make Jesus your choice and Heaven your home. Please stop procrastinating make Jesus your Lord, He wants everyone included in His rewards.

At the final tick of the clock time will stop, all decisions not made will be eternally locked. If you still have a decision to make, don’t wait; the clock is ticking.

2 half’s= 1 whole, 3 third’s = 1 whole, 4 fourth’s = 1 whole, all different, but; amount to the same thing. Mathematics is the science of numbers, quantity and space; simply put add, subtract, multiply . The theory is the sum is equal to it’s parts, but; there is another way to add and multiply. Malachi 3:7-12 reveals this secret which is called the tithe, meaning 1 tenth. At one time or another we all struggle to meet our financial obligations, the pay check just doesn’t seem to be enough to cover our needs; there is always a lack of funds.

We find ourselves robbing Peter to pay Paul, no joke intended. Have you ever considered how faithful our Creator truly is to His creations? He gives us not according to what we deserve, but; according to His love for us which is unconditional. He gives the rain in due season, the sunshine, the moon and stars at night, a summer breeze and the chilly winter wind. He orders everything in nature for our benefit. In His instructions for life He has given many promises, one which would relieve us of stress; it requires us to lay aside one tenth of what we receive which is Holy to Him.

If we would honor Him in this, He would open the windows of heaven and pour us out blessings there would not be room enough to receive them. Can you imagine how wonderful our lives would be if we just followed His instructions// He has given us all things and only request 10% of our increase, we are left with 90% to do what we want with it. Most of us throw away or misuse more than 10% of our finances on insignificant things, reaping little or no benefits.

Our Creator wants nothing but the very best for His children, He considers obedience better than sacrifice. Those who follow Him will reap the benefits of blessings, however; He has warned us to neglect His instructions brings curses. We must remember it was disobedience that caused the fall of mankind. Just think by setting aside one tenth for Him, we can reap increase in our faith, finances, health, and protection. We learn to trust our Father Creator for He is faithful, we realize His word is true and His love for us is undeniable.

The only thing we have left to do is to decide, will we obey Him or deny Him?

Every good book or movie is successful because it has a good story line, principles that are appealing to the reader or viewer and a plot twist that takes us by surprise. Each one of us is living his or her own story, we may not look at our lives in that way, but; truth be told we are right in the middle of our very own drama or comedy; maybe both. As we go through life we find things that just seem to keep us laughing or thinking to ourselves how strange but funny some of the experiences we have seem to be.

The things we do and what we see other do, we say things like ” I should write a book”, in some cases to write about our lives could be beneficial to someone else trying to navigate life’s road. Unfortunately, there are those who seem to live in dark clouds; the rain never stops falling in their lives, one storm after another. They struggle to get through the day with each night ending with a tear stained pillow. The merry go round of life takes some up while others are down and vice versa.

The journey is always different, rarely do we have the exact same journey, but; we all have to travel the same road. Our experiences are the results of the choices we make for good or bad. In some of our stories we are the super hero, the one everyone depends on to save the day; to always have the answer to the problem. Then there are the victims, everything that could happen does happen to them, but; it’s never their fault. Because life is unpredictable not every story has a happy ending.

Sometimes there are no super hero’s, the main character doesn’t survive, the rain doesn’t stop falling and the sun doesn’t shine; all hope seems to be lost. All is not hopeless, I can introduce you to the real life changer; everything He touches blooms even when there is no rain or sun. When you get to know Him, He gives you the power to weather the storms; on the darkest days you can still see the sunshine behind the clouds. He will not impose on your will to live as you please, but He waits patiently for you to seek His help.

His story has no beginning or ending, He has always been and is just as close as calling His name. He is a Master at rewriting life stories and changing their endings. Though the waters of life can be choppy your vessel will drift gently through them with Him at the helm. I can vouch for His effectiveness because He changed my story; removed my rain clouds and restored the sunshine and joy to my life. I still have storms sometimes, but; I’m not afraid nor do I worry.

He has promised to never leave or forsake me and He keeps all His promises. Jesus is His name, the only true life changer. Do you know Him? He wants to know you, what’s your story? Do you need Him to change your story ending?

Another year has passed into history, the lessons it has left behind leaves us reeling from the chaos we experienced. Sickness, death, hatred, financial ruin, business failures, and separation from each other because of political views. We have lost sight of who we are, who created us, and why we were created. It is said we must remember the mistakes of the past and learn from them to prevent repeating them in the future.

It’s unfortunate that it seem every generation continues to fight the same evils of the generation before them. What are we not learning? Why do we continue to make the same mistakes as our fore fathers? What is the key to change? Most of us would consider themselves as good people, we try to do what we think is right, at least most of the time. Yet, the enemy of mankind is relentless; he does everything in his power to cause pain and suffering upon humanity.

Many of us become willing partners with him in his quest to destroy that which is good and loving. They are motivated by greed, power, and control over others. Their hearts have grown cold and dark with the evils of this world. The question now becomes, how do we move forward? We have been graced with the beginning of a new year, new opportunities, and a renewed challenge to create a better world. It is our duty to resolve the problems the enemy of man has set before us.

We are not in this battle alone, we have a mighty warrior at our disposal; He is very familiar with this enemy and how he works his deceptions. Only when we have hearts of love will we be able to stand in the time of conflict. Love will dispel anger, love will sacrifice for others, love will comfort and bring peace. Jesus, our mighty warrior is seeking hearts to transform, to prepare them to over come the wiles of the enemy. Jesus is the answer, love is the key to make changes that can break the generational curse of mankind’s greatest enemy.

Yielding our will to the will of the Creator can strengthen us in the quest to make changes for future generations. To provide for the least of these, to eradicate hate from our world, to treat others as we wish to be treated and to forgive each other. We must beat our swords into ploughshares and our spears into pruning hooks, nations should not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore. Moving forward we can leave a better world for the generations to come.

A world where love reigns and Jesus the Christ is king, If you are not in the battle against the enemy; you have a new opportunity to make a choice. Choose wisely, your future depends on the decision you make; moving forward.

Dear Father Creator, Savior, Redeemer and Friend; You spoke and it became, You set the sun in her course and blanketed the night with a starry host. With Your own hands from the dust of the ground You created man, spread the mountains and valleys green across the landscape; then gave the birds a song to sing. How wonderous are thy works, a feast for the eye and a joy to the soul. All creation is sustained by thy will, yet; mankind has turned his back on Thee. They have replaced You with their idols of money, fame, power, gluttony and even their children.

Their eyes are closed and with their ears they do not hear your voice calling out to them. You sent Your Only son to show us the way home knowing He would be rejected, spit on, and crucified; but, You sent Him any way. The penalty for our disobedience to pay. Our world is engulfed in misery and strife, please give ear to my one voice calling out in the stillness of this night. You are our only hope for peace, joy to be reborn, and hatred to cease. We need to be awaken from this long dark sleep, misguided and deceived.

We like sheep follow the wrong Shepard willingly headed for destruction. I’m crying out to You for help, I know you are there and You hear every Prayer. So many people are sleeping in the street, children over the earth don’t have enough food to eat; those with the power to help horde the wealth. They close their eyes and pretend not to see all the pain and misery. Only Your touch Father can change a heart, open closed eyes and generate a new start. I’m reaching out to You, You have the last word; You alone hold this world in the palm of Your hands.

Open our eyes give us clarity of sight that we can gaze into the face of loves brilliant light, melt away the darkness and set us free to love each other and honor thee. Renew a right spirit in us, give our hearts a song of love to sing to the world and teach us to follow thy leading.

Magic is defined as an extraordinary power or influence seemingly from super natural sources. Most people associate magic with the dark side, spells and incantations of workers of evil. Then there are those who see it as entertainment, over the years there have been many prominent magicians; Houdini, David Copperfield, David Blaine, Penn & Teller, Shin Lim, and many others who seem to have the power to mesmerize and perform other worldly feats.

Allow me to share the real magic of the Christmas season to me. It all began with three magic words, “I will go”; the plan of salvation was set in motion. Divinity wrapped Himself in flesh and stepped on planet earth, as He grew His love for humanity increased. The liberation of mankind from the grasp of darkness His main focus, to present them spotless before His Father His goal. “It is finished” the last three magic words He spoke.

They unlocked the prison doors for all willing to walk out of darkness into the life giving light. A choice each man must make for himself, freedom is not forced; it must be desired. Once upon a time in my life I found myself drowning in the darkness trying to consume me, didn’t know what to do or where to turn; it was then I heard His voice so clear saying “I love you” three magic words that saved me from imminent doom.

My life journey changed as I came to learn His name, Jesus; my redeemer, savior, keeper and friend. He shed His blood that I would have the opportunity to live with Him, to brake the chains that had me bound, and give me a song to sing for all to hear; the sound of deliverance. Now I sing and pray as I patiently await His return for He said “I’m coming again”, three magic words that announce time will end; darkness will be consumed by the Light, joy will never end, and the world will be renewed.

He wants me to tell you how much He loves you too, He wants you to know Him better and to know He wants the best for you. The magic of Christmas came as a baby, died on a tree; shedding His blood for you and me. The most important three magic words the world could ever hear is “SALVATION is FREE” the price has already been paid.

Lyrics to a song stated” I was born by a river in a little tent, just like that river I’ve been running every since, it’s been a long time coming, but; I know a change gone come.” This is familiar to many but to some not so much. Change is inevitable, life is constantly changing; each day is different. One day the sun is shining, the next the rain falls; then there are times when the sun and rain share the same day.

Many years ago the people of the earth were so corrupt changes had to be made. Everything was destroyed, only 8 souls saved. Replenish the earth was the command they were given by the Creator of life in the beginning. Time didn’t stand still, it continued to march on, man didn’t change his ways and something had to be done.

In a quiet village on a starry night the world received the gift of life, a babe was born who would save the world. His coming was fore told by the prophets of old, yet; the world was not ready to receive Him. On that perfect night the Angels gave light to the earth as they heralded the news of His birth. A change had come to the world wrapped in a blanket of love.

Love that would give each man a chance to be reborn in the light of the Fathers love. We have come to know this babe in many ways, by many names and when we receive Him in our lives we experience many changes. We begin to see our world through the eyes of love, compassion our daily friend; we walk the path He walked when He became a man.

There is another change coming, time will soon stand still; He that came as a babe, will come as a man again. Every eye shall see Him, Angels accompanying Him will again light up the sky; men’s hearts will faint with fear, they will know the end is nigh. This old world of sin will be cleansed, the originator of sin destroyed; only perfection will remain.

Those who have been chosen to inherit eternal life will be changed into His likeness and caught up to meet Him in the air. He will take them to His Fathers house to dwell with Him there, this will be the last change to be made. If you are not ready, the time to get ready is NOW ; time will wait for no one, don’t let it run out on YOU.

Most of us remember our good ole school days, what our favorite subject was and our basketball and football teams. Some of us still sing the lyrics of our Alma Mata. I think if asked we would all agree the only thing we had problems with was test day. Many because they weren’t prepared; they didn’t take time to study, it was a pop quiz, or they studied the wrong thing. We don’t always realize it , but; in life we all go through a testing season.

A time when decisions must be made and consequences contemplated, because we exist in a fractured world our test may come in many different ways . We are tested by the actions of our children and family members, by co workers on our jobs, and by circumstances we have no control over. The challenges we face in life can be unpredictable because there are evil forces at work in our world. These forces come to steal, kill and destroy.

Their goal is to subjugate mankind by any means available, their satanic influence comes in the form of greed, selfishness, anger, and indifference to the needs of others. Unfortunately, we are powerless against these forces on our own, we must be fortified with the love and faith of Jesus the Christ to combat them. We are reminded we must put on the whole armor of God to come against these powerful forces.

No matter what the enemy brings, we must trust God for the victory over him and his evil agents. Once we recognize his presences, our testing season begins. We must seek the face of our Savior; stand on His word, prepare for battle through the leading of the Holy Spirit and stand in faith for the victory. We will all experience a testing season in our lives, Only with Jesus in our lives will we be prepared to face them . Preparation is the key to overcoming the enemy.

Fortification of your relationship with Jesus the Christ is necessary before your testing season comes, He is our ONLY hope against this enemy; He is our present help in time of trouble and He will never leave or forsake us. His desire is that none should perish but all should come to repentance that they might be saved and enter into His Fathers kingdom family. The question that remains to be answered is, are you prepared for your testing season?
