following the leader

In the beginning God created man, He said let us make him just like us as He gathered in His hands a little dust. Gently molding his shape; head, arms, chest,& waist; legs, feet, eyes, ears, noise and mouth. The man should not live alone He said so He gave him a mate to call his own. One became two, two became four; man was given dominion over all the Creator had made. The birds of the air, fish in the sea, the animals in the fields and forest; the flowers and trees.

Side by side the man and his bride cared for their Eden home, after the fall they had two sons; a happy family enjoying Gods love. Trusting that God would open a door to restore them to Eden once more. It was the mans responsibility to lead the way for the family to follow until that day. Each man has been mandated to lead his family, he is the head of his wife and children; provider, protector, and confidant. Loving unconditional and readily forgiving offences, teaching by example.

Jesus who is the head of the man gave the greatest example to follow; He embodied all the characteristics man should aspire to emulate. He walked humbly among the people in constant communication with His Father, displayed kindness to all, He willingly gave of Himself to those in need, and He corrected sin with love and compassion. He was not judgmental, nor did He condemn those who had lost their way. His shoulders were strong, yet; His voice was gentle. His hands were used to heal and not harm, everywhere He went Love, Mercy, and Grace followed.

The example of Jesus the Christ is what every man must study, surrender self to the Spirit of Jesus and walk in the footsteps of Jesus. When total surrender is given the characteristics of Jesus will cover his life like a warm blanket, he will enjoy peace in the midst of the storm, love will radiate from every fiber of his being and he will willingly follow the leader, Jesus the Christ wherever He leads. Happy Father’s day

  1. As men surrender, we obtain the greatest strength possible. We surrender to Yeshua or Jesus in English. Jesus is the head, and as we surrender to Him, He gives us the greatest power to lead our family. The power to overcome our selfish sinful self. To follow Him with enthusiasm and complete trust. In Him we are given wisdom. Wisdom to be able to know how to love, even our enemies. By emulating Christ, we see people in our world change and we ant to know the Savior as we know and Love Him.

This so beautifully resonates with my humble heart. Thank you for your insight Pat. Continue to pray, to listen to the Lord and write the words he gives you by the pool of grace.

Happy Father’s Day to you and your Son.

    Love in Christ Jesus
